Glue on tires? Winshield glue? (1 Viewer)

Somebody told me you could use winshield glue without the primer to glue your rubber onto your rims. They would still come off with a machine as long as you didn't use the primer. I have 2 sets of 10" wide rims and am running 35x12.5 and really should run 8" wide rims to air down. Can I use glue on a 10" wide aluminum or steel rim? Thoughts?

Not sure if that would work, but they do make Tire sealing compound you coat the bead then mount the tire.. basically glue.. If it galvanizes the rubber it probably would work...

I would plan on not being able to reuse the rims/Tires if at some point you wanted to change them up, and be happy if they do break apart without trashing out the bead..

You can purchase bead cement for that. Used to run with an 80 series owner in MA that would have his tires glued to the stock rims by the tire store whenever he had new tires installed. Worked very well for him and didn't damage the aluminum rims when the next set was installed.

ya use regular tire bead cement. lotta tire shops will even have some kickin around i think.
