This gasser started life as a facility fire truck owned and operated by Aisin in Japan. Purchased by Wayne Smith ("Crushers") in 2006 and later imported to Canada after removal of fire service body, pump, ballast, etc. Wayne added a beautiful aluminum tray (dropside) which makes it perfect for our purposes.

Rescued from the Badlands of South Dakota
131,000 miles, 3680 on 2F rebuild
Mods: A lot of replacement, welding and refitting. The original 2F was rebuilt and desmogged and I still have a ton of parts left over sitting idle in a crate. The suspension and lift came from CCOT. Fuel injection from Sam's Offroad
Plans: Ultimately, I do not have the time to get it running again and got burnt out on the 40 series. It has a brand new fuel injection system installed, but I just haven't had a chance to get it calibrated in. Will most likely clean up and sell to someone more interest in the 40 series. This was my first restore at age 22, so it's not my best work, but it is still a solid vehicle. All of the panels are metal and the vehicle is not rusted. I do have the hardtop and ambulance doors as well.
