LOL hey Beno I know you're busy so no rush but what is the inside diam of a 70 series snorkel top and how much are they>?

You really need an intern to pull and pack orders, surely there is some HS kid looking for a way into a DECA program and dying to get out school early and make a little bit of $ratch!

Beno

I gave your contact information to a lady at AAA Glass here in Orlando, Fl. They are my insurance's choice of windsheild vendor, and have to provide an OEM glass and seal. She will hopefully be ordering the FJ60 windsheild and seal, (no chrome), from you in the next day or so.

Insurance pays for the glass and seal, I pay any shipping, since I demanded OEM stuff. If you can apply the Mud pricing there, I would appreciate it, but getting the RIGHT parts is much higher priority.

Thank you
John

No problem John.

One thing is that the non-chrome strip weatherstrip is not availabe in the US market. The gasket comes with the valley for the chrome.

Chrome strips are available but pricey and tough shipping without damaging.

Crap on a cracker. Do any of the aftermarket seals without the ridge for the strip actually seal?

Longwood isn't too far from Atlanta, just have Beno order them and go grab them, bill the insurance company the standard per mile rate the IRS allows!

The chrome strip is not needed to seal anything.

The chrome that goes around your windshield is decoration. It has nothing to do at all with the structural integrity of the seal between your body and the windshield.

The weatherstrip and the installer have everything to do with the seal.

A couple of things folks:

1. The charge you should see on your credit card will be from "ASBURY". Nalley Toyota is a part of the Asbury Auto Group which is a large, publically-held company. ASBURY=beno. :)

2. A few words on shipping charges: 95% of the time I can pretty much guesstimate what the shipping charges will be because almost all of our stuff goes via USPS Priority.

In instances where that is not the case, I will estimate/quote a shipping charge. The actual charge may be higher or lower than what the estimate is due to the fact that most of the time the parts are ackward or bulky.

A SHIPPING ESTIMATE IS JUST THAT: AN ESTIMATE--IT IS NOT A GUARANTEE.

The final shipping bill could indeed *vary* depending if you are buying a rotor, a radiator, or a hood assy.

Thanks much.

Shucks. What should I do? The aftermarket gasket is giving me a puddle in the passenger floor. Is the chrome strips available?

John, a real glass shop has the black rubber insert strip that snaps into the groove to lock the WS in place. It may not be needed w/ the OEM WS, but there is generic aftermarket availability.

Send email about PS pump rebuild kit, I swear it never effing ends ...
