I'm looking for interest in getting the Cadium finish look found on most Cruiser nuts bolts and hardware done.

Cadium has been outlawed. BUt I have a business neighbor that will do a yellow zinc for us.

It's around $60 dollars for a 5 gallon bucket full. I don't have 5 gallons of parts. Well maybe. But if wee pooled everyone in who wanted their stuff plated we would save some money.

One stipulation is the parts cannot have paint grease or rust on them. But I have found by dipping them in carb cleaner for a day gets rid of everything.

Who would like to go in?

could he do larger parts like a skid plate?

I actually got these plated this week.

Not bad for 75 dollars. This is about half of the first stash.

Could you do a valve cover?

Probably not as the 2,3 f motors have aluminum valve covers and there is very little need for a zinc coating for something that doesn't rust.

yeah I guess gold isnt the best valve cover color- it would be better than peeled clear coat though.....

So I'm fixing to do another batch. So if you have bolts or any other parts that need to be plated now is the time. I'll need them by this weekend. You can even come by this Sunday and borrow the bead blaster to get them cleaned up if they have a bunch of rust. I'll also be dipping all my stuff in acid Sunday so if you want to get your greasy parts in now is the time. I thought I would have less than a 5 gallon bucket full of bolts left after the first batch. But I was wrong. I have about 7 gallons of bolts left. lol. Plus a ton of other parts I want plated. So bring your stuff. If you don't have much stuff you can just chip in some money and I'll take care of you.

They charge $75 for a 5 gallon bucket.
