MORE PICS...

i grew up with a german shepard, and as soon as i get a house that allows pets, i'm getting another one.

Here is mine. He has been fighting Lymphoma Cancer for 17 months. The oncologists best guess when we started the second round of chemo was that he might make January or February (of 2006). Unbelievably he made it through the second round of Chemo and is holding in remission for the moment. Through it all he remains a loyal, sweet happy friend. I have spent about $15,000 on him in the past 17 months and every penny was worth it. I will never have another kind of dog if I can help it.

Note the picture is almost 2 years old, I just didn't feel like finding another resized.

They are awesome dogs.

We had one when i was alot younger(20 now). He was an amazing shepherd, even after 9 years he was in perfect health with no signs of hip problems.

Unfortunately though about a week before christmas(8 yrs ago or so) he disappear at night. No idea what ever happened to him. It sucks.

That is sad.

These dogs are true pack animals, so whatever prevented him from coming back was pretty serious...

Our pack

Our old female, probably 13-14 years old has been having seizures periodically. I do not know what I will do with my wife when something happens to that dog.

Now, my boys are 8 and 7. When something happens to them, I will probably have to take off work for awhile.
