If you see an ARB or similar bumper (especially sans a winch) and there aren't any other obvious signs of an offroad "build," then it's likely that there was an accident which caused damage to the OE bumper.
This one has a bumper on both ends, hence the history of damage on the front and rear.

This axiom will hold true at least 75% of the time.

When I was the victim of a staged crash, I "repaired" my '94 80 with the cheapest ARB I could source.

Well, I think these aren’t the cheapest arb bumpers out there since they are color matched but I would keep on eye on it. Looks like a new LC though! Remember that these trucks aren’t young!
