Hi guys, i pulled my gearbox recently and made an amature mistake, i put a bolt that was too long for the thread i was putting it into and it blowout on the back of one of the bolt holes, it doesnt look like the crack has gone into the actual case and it kind of circles around on it self like the piece could almost fall out. It doesnt appear to leak oil after i filled it up and tilted the box on its side. Is this something i should be concerned about or just leave it be?

Is that a semi-circular crack or is there a chunk of aluminum missing (spall)? You could clean that area off very well using Acetone/Brake Cleaner, take more photos at different angles including the backside of that web, consider adding a UV dye into the gear oil then re-check for leaks after some driving.
