Gauging interest on PUMA air compressor 80 series mount

Initially I thought it might work but I am gonna say no because it seems like stability will be a problem

The prototype doesn't exhibit any stability issue at all can you elaborate on your concern.

What are the pros/cons , if any, to mounting on passenger side vs. drivers side?
Is one side better than the other?

I could see is a few less feet of wire on install for the drivers side. Some guys like the drivers side if they mount the spare upright to not block visability. It mostly about what works best for you personally. No clear cut advantage I know of.

isn't there a way the compressor could be mounted above the spare tire carrier under the vehicle and insulated against the elements?
I don't want to clutter up the interior of the cab.

a. Wouldn't take up room within the vehicle
b. No opening of windows or rear hatch to get access to
c. Less noise

I've seen it on an an FJ and am just hoping someone comes up with an 80 version.

I would think the thinner metal on the fender would give before this mount would?

For a visual it will fit and clear with the tire mounted as pictured.

Funny you ask... the fabricator will be by within the hour to pick up my extra PUMA for fitting.

I want to order an Anderson quick disconnect for it, and thought some one here would know.
