PUMA 12V compressor mounts for all 80 series and LX450 now available Click here

Several local guys are interested in PUMA air compressor mounts for there 80 series. I have a local builder that will consider making a run if we have interest.

The PUMA mount will bolt to existing holes for your 3rd row seats. It is designed to mount close to the rear of the second row seats, but clear. The side you choose will eliminate the use of your 3rd row seat on that side. The PUMA and mount will not extend past the wheel well given you the ability to having something tight against the wheel well. The mount will be available for both sides. The mount will come in raw metal and shipped packaged. You will need to paint, prime, or just let it rust once you receive it. We have found all mounting holes are not in the same spot so you will need to also drill hole for mounting the PUMA itself. You will need to use existing hardware for mounting of both the bracket and compressor.

Because the mount is flat, 3/16" thick, and super strong you can use the mount for a variety of other uses.

Pictured is the prototype slight change in size may happen but for the most part this is a working concept.

Questions?
Interest?

If you dont know what a PUMA 12volt compressor is there are several thread addressing it and its performance. Arguably one of the best values in a 12 volt compressor you can buy.

If interest is shown a thread will be started in the for sale section.

I'm interested. I made one from wood but this is the real steel deal! Any ideas on the cost? I'm looking for a drivers side mount for sure but would be open to one for each side depending on cost.

I'd be in for a DS mount. It looks more trail worthy than my current cam-strap technique.

Alot of pent up demand if I remember right - looks clean and simple. Im in for one ~

I'd be interested.

I have a GunVault Mini safe that I use to lock up my valuables when I'm out camping so I don't lose them. I'd be very interested in fabricating a bracket to mount onto this Puma mount.

I envision a vertical piece coming off the tail of the puma mount, the same width as the puma shelf, which goes nearly to the floor of the truck, then another vertical piece on the side to form a wall that would hug the wall of the truck. The wall plate would be a great place to mount my safe, a first aid kit, stabilize a 10lb or larger fire extinguisher that rested on the floor of the truck or many other possibilities.

The tie down ring or 3rd row seatbelt bolt in the rear of the truck could be leveraged to provide a 3rd location to secure the entire bracket.

First I need to get a solid base for the proposed mounts. Once we have enough base interest then we can entertain options.

Understood, I misread the response "What other details would you like?". Small screen and not paying full attention is a bad combo!
