Gauging interest in group buy - 40 series LED tail lights

G'day lads,

I have here sitting in my office a 2.5' tall box weighing about 40 lbs containing LEDs Thanks Dan!!

I am shocked by the postage: au$275.15 - oh my god. I can't believe these lights weigh so much all totaled. Dan, I hope you are not out-of-pocket for shipping. i am amazed; I shipped an HJ78 bell housing for a 1HZ to DansHJ45 a couple of years ago for au$110....

I will get these out this week. Could everyone please PM me with their address and I'll get them out ASAP. Let me know too if you want them shipped express and I can do that too. I think our office cost is around $15 for the express box, but I'll have to confirm.

I hope to get them to the Post Office today at lunch. Looks like the cheapest way is to send via Priority Mail for $12.38. PM me for my Paypal address. I have most of your shipping addresses from Dan except for dasgeek (David), so I need that.

Even though I got mine outside of the group buy, I have already received mine and got them installed. So far so good. They are very bright and look pretty good.

All in the post today (with 12v resistors), so y'all should have them by Tuesday at the latest (in Alaska, looks like Wednesday). I have not sent out dasgeek's or Weber Sarge's yet as I'm waiting on address confirmation but I will send those out as soon as I get confirmation.

I have yet to hear from the one member who decided not to pay Dan for the lights, so I think at this point I have one set (with resistors) sitting here with no home. Anyone still keen? PM dancar for his Paypal account and get the money to him, then Paypal me the $12.38 and they are yours. Or, simply Paypal me the whole amount and I will give it to Dan when he arrives at my house in a month for a visit if he is happy with that.

I'm sure we will get a buyer if you post to both threads with the price of $255 AU to Dancar and $12.38 US to you. That little to have some very unique rear lights all the way from down under (doing my best here).

It will be a while still... but I did test them with my bench tester and they look great. The clear cover that's over the lights gives them a bit more of a modern look. Although they are a bit bigger, they are still a good size, and you wouldn't know it unless you held them side by side.

Also, I love how they're sealed and I'll never have to worry about changing a bulb or getting them wet.

Being that I had already purchased brand new oem rear tail lights, I'd rather sell the LEDs rather than modify my 4+ bumper and light gaurds. I'm bummed because the LEDs look awesome. I will discount from what I paid if anybody is interested...

Oh no! Can you fit specter guards to your 4+? They fit perfectly in those. There was another guy who wanted the last set after they sold. I'll pm him.

Unfortunately, the dual swingout rear carrier I have does not work with specter guards, only the 4+ guards. They are very similar, but the 4+ actually keeps the lights out away from the crossmember a bit, and up higher, so they do interfere.
