I apologize for the wordiness in advance.

A little background first. I have a 94 with 155K miles. Since it is getting warmer here in the deep south, I tried out the AC today. Every time I press the AC switch the 10A gauge fuse blows. This results in every gauge except the fuel gauge going to zero. NO fan motor and no power windows. I did not check to see whether the sunroof would work.

The only non stock electrical item is a feed off the positive side of the battery for a 12v lighter receptacle for an ARB refrigerator. The feed is equipped with a 15A fuse holder within a foot of the battery and it runs through the firewall at the clutch master cylinder rubber plug and in the drivers side trough with the main harness to the back of the truck.

I have had a couple of incidents with passenger side front floor board being wet after severe rainstorms. Both times I opened the sunroof and ran water through the sunroof drains to clear them. There was about four months between each instance.

I plan on ordering an EWD from Dan but if anyone has had this experience before maybe I can learn from your experience.

There may be a problem with the A/C compressor or clutch. Possibly a siezed compressor.
