gas tank size

I've read some of the 100's have an additional gas tank or an over sized one. Was this an option or was it just standard on some years models? What years is it seen on and what total gas quantity did you end up with if you had that set up?

The extra tank is not available in North America.
My 100 series has this option (96+45 Liters) and it is switchable.

Well..l..should have guessed. None of the good models and options get sold here. We have to make our own changes or import from other countries. Seems like Toyota takes some kind of pleasure sticking it to Americans.
If they sold diesels here it would be amazing.

Not just Toyota, you ought to read about how Mercedes F'ed over us with USA models.
Some folks import and get certified European models.

I don't have a truck like that... I was dreaming of one just like the rest of us Americans in here.
