Gas lid opening clip broken today. (1 Viewer)

Hey folks,
My 18' TLC gas lid opening clip broke recently around 40k miles. Just replaced with part# 77360-35040.
Gas lid still opened no issues without the spring, but fixed it with a $6 dollar part. 1 minute fix, no tools needed.

I keep a spare in my glove box. Had one break on my previous 200 and it's super annoying when you're in the gas station by yourself and can't get the stupid door to open when you yank on the handle. I had to have a stranger pull the door open for me while I was pulling the handle.

Mine broke at ~50k miles. Yeah it's annoying... I rolled up some paper and wedged it in the door from the top. That was enough force to pop mine open when I pulled the latch

Mine broke today too! 2018 55K. This is the first breakdown in 5 years. I should sell the truck.
