Its still bad in Charlotte. had to wait for 30 minutes to pay $4.19 a gallon.

I traveled from Charlotte this past weekend and was able to get gas a little bit south of Rock Hill.
My 'rents came down from Franklin today, and they said the only place there was gas between there and my house (Westminster, Seneca, Clemson) was in Long Creek, SC. Makes me REALLY happy I just got 40mpg in the Saturn, and the Cruiser is sitting with over a 1/2 tank I can scavenge if necessary.
Carolina and Gas
There is a definate problem in western and central South Carolina right now. Uncle has me in a E-85 rig and it's not been too affected by the shortage, but it too is being rationed at locations in and around columbia/spartinberg , just seems to be spotty and local interventions only. Should clear up soon. If the crashing market leaves us any money to spend on anything that is.

Greenville actually has a pretty good supply today. Yesterday was bad but today the stations that have gas don't have lines.
Gas was 3.38 on the way into work this am, I'm hoping it drops again before this afternoon when I fill up since it hasn't dropped in 2 or 3 days now.
