Hello! The seller (who is also a mechanic) where I got my 1995 80 series from told me that he already deleted the Rear Heater. I live in Socal so no rear heater for me is totally fine and besides I don't transport anyone aside from me and the wife lol. Question is how do I verify if this mod was really done? I can see the heater underneath the passenger seat. TIA

Here are some pictures of the engine bay. The heater fan still works as I said the fan is still underneath the passenger seat but its not blowing heat air even at High.

Yes, you don't appear to have the down pipes required for the rear heater.

Usually they are left in place and just removed from the coolant circuit.

Here is what it looks like on mine. I have a ls engine so it will look slightly different.

I am assuming Yes as in the rear heater was deleted? Sounds good. One less thing to worry about :)

You probably do have the rear heater if you hear a fan. However, you don't have the hard coolant lines that are required, at least the upper lines. There are upper and lower lines. They rust out.

None of your rubber coolant lines are original but one on the driver's side appears to have a weep, with a very rusty clamp.

The biggest issue with coolant lines is the PHH (pesky heater hose).
