What’s up MUD..?

Wanted to share my new set up.
285-70-R17 Nitto Terra Grapplers mounted on FJ Cruiser Steel Wheels no spacers.
I love the look, plus the 80 rides like a dream.

Hope you enjoy the set up.

Nice. Black rims on a white Cruiser always looks great.:)

Thank you,

I really didn’t want Black Wheels. But I couldn’t pass up the deal ( 5 Steele’s for $100.00 on C.L.) . I’m feeling the look now.

nice setup you got there!

Thank you, I love the Safari/ expo look.

You mind popping the flares off so I can see what it looks like without em?

kidding, of course :)

I like it, very clean.

Me too but with KM2s

Do you have any pictures of your 80 on flat ground…?
I’m considering a 2.5” OME Lift but don’t want the wheel gap/tire size to look bad (like if the tires were too small for the lift).
Not sure if you fallow me…?

Those wheels look nice... Any modification involved at all in fitment? I saw that you didn't use spacers, but it's the same bolt pattern?

Thank you,

Yes sir no modifications what so ever. I used the same lug nuts as my OEM wheels. They could use a 5mm spacer just to pop them out a bit. I think if i go 315 (35'') i'll need a 1'' spacer for sure.

Here's one. I am not running a rear bumper/tirecarrier yet but I do have drawers that help compensate for stinkbug.

I like the KM2s. They are much quieter on the road than my old GY MTRs and have been great offroad.
