I know this has been discussed ad nauseam. I've read tons of posts on this. My USA 80 still leans towards the DS rear.

I decided to create a 2x2 matrix to see if I have it right. Let me know if my matrix is correct with regards to the OME 850s and OME 860s labeled A and B.

Thanks,

Manny

[Update 2014-08-11] This chart is wrong. B's must be on the driver's side for both front and rear on USA 80s. There's a chart later on that shows the right way.

That looks right.

I checked mine and I have A on the right front and left rear.
I thought I followed the directions correctly, but the Slee write up says I didn't.

Sorry if I misled anyone... Apparently there is plenty of confusion to go around.

My heavy lean to rear DS is with the rear Bs on PS and rear A's on DS. I need to reverse the rear to get it like the chart I posted. Thanks. I just wanted to confirm that my chart is correct.

I ended up swapping the b spring to the lh side

Relative to the chart? So, you ended with Bs on driver's side on both front and rear?

Even in the right position, it occasionally requires a packer to level a corner up on an 80.

Those springs are made in OZ for RHD cars, need to swap sides for you lefties in the US !!!!
This is correct. I've installed this way on three lifts (two vehicles) and never had issues.

Which way? The way the original chart says in the first post?

I'm cool with a packer, but I just want to make sure the chart is the absolute correct way. Then I can add the packer if still leaning.

The longer spring always goes on the longer side of the axle, no matter which is the driver's side.

My stock '97 leaned to the left since I got it, and after adding TJM springs, it was the same. And they're labeled L and R so it's pretty hard to screw up.
I wound up putting 1" spacers on both left side springs and it's perfectly level now.

Mine leans to pass side with ome j's. I was going to swap sides but ended up feeling to dangerous without a car lift.

Taken from Slee's instructions "Lately some springs are labeled A and B. A is for Australian driver side, so in the US this should go on the passenger side and B should go on the driver side."
This is the way I have always done it.

Both B springs are on the LH side of my truck

That's what I was afraid of...both are wrong on mine. I have both Bs on passenger side for USA 80.

Some posts mention crisis crossing like I have on chart on first post and there are other forums mentioning the crisis crossing.

Mine sits level (left to right any way lol)

I had sent Christo an e-mail to buy coil spacers for the right DS, but he right away said to make sure they are installed correctly. I sent him an e-mail this weekend to look at my chart, but he hasn't replied. I did buy these OME springs/shocks new from him a few years ago, but I never bothered to call him.

Moreover, I thought I had checked the labels when first installed, but I guess I didn't check very well. I just cut the labels from the passenger side yesterday to confirm the Bs are on the wrong side.

My tags are long gone..

I believe Slee's website has it backwards. My measurements (after 8K miles) of my 850/860 springs with just sliders and a full tank of fuel are:
DF-22.5"
PF-22.25"
DR-23
PR-23
I'd imagine if i was sitting in drivers seat then it'd be perfectly level left to right. Mine don't have A or B. Never did even new. I replaced the longer spring (driver) with the longer OME spring. Seems pretty easy to do it correctly. Stock springs are different lengths. Match them up and all done!
