Now I am unsure, either way it is a common sized socket that needs a big breaker bar attached to it. Ask Onur he almost fell out of the engine bay cranking out those bolts!

Be sure to get 1/2" drive and not 3/8" drive sockets! You'll be putting a lot of power during the reinstall phase using a breaker bar or a cheater bar

I went down and got one special. Didn't get to work on it last night as the 40 was giving me fits, Got the 40 running enoough to get back and forth to work so I'll dig in tonight and get the remained of the head off.
Watched the vid (thanks Mike!) and it has some good tips. If I had watched before I started i could have saved about 3 hours. It was funny watching Doug go through the same trials I did getting some of that stuff off.
Injectors should be in Friday so i am shooting for the end of the weekend to have her purring like a new born kitten. Went down yesterday and Dan hooked me up with a nre regualtor, fuel filter, and thermo, so I'll add those too. So far with 193K, I am pleased with the condition and relative ease of disassembly.

did you do the crankshaft seal, fuel filter and the oil pump cover seal while you're "in there"? You won't get any better access to these items any other time!
