FZJ80 Head Gasket DVD

The HG on the 80 fianally slipped. I have started to do the job and remembered that someone had a DVD. The FSM is great, but any help to make this as quick as possible, so:
does anyone have the DVD I can borrow for a few days? I would appreciate it!

I have the DVD but it might be out on loan. I will have to check at home. I think Rory was the last to borrow it but he might have given it back.

FYI, there are a couple of nice write-ups here on 'Mud. Landtank was the first to do it as a PM a few years ago. IIRC, Ali did a good write-up back in January.

Thanks. I'll go searching some more with those specifics. Robyn is with Josh at Cub Scout camp today and Monday. i am going to dig in this weekend with high hopes to have it wrapped up, so I'll come by anywhere needed to pick it up if it is available.

If you can do the HG on the 1FZ-FE for the first time in one weekend you are very fast. Are you having the head pressure tested and new valve stem seals?

I've already been working on it and I am trying to be optimistic! Don't burst my bubble, man!
No, I was just going to get in there, make sure it wasn't warped and replace all the seals and gaskets from the kit on the way out.
I haven't had a chance to look at the write ups you suggested, so what am i missing?

Actually a quick question...The SST for the head bolts appears to be a star? What size is that and if it's not a star, then what is it?

according to Ali its a 12mm 13 point....







but its really a just a 12mm

Are the head bolts just a 12mm 12 point socket or a special tool?
