FZJ100 Not Starting

Hi Everyone,

First time posting in the 100 section. I'm actually writing this for my dad who is in Saudi Arabia and his newly acquired FZJ100 isn't starting. He says there's no electrical power at all, even the dome lights don't turn on.

Obviously this could be a battery issue, however he says there are 2 batteries in the truck. Does anyone know if the GCC spec FZJ100 trucks came with 2 batteries from factory? I am assuming there is a selector if one goes dead?

I figured this would be a long shot since most guys here run UZJ100s...

No electrical power at all sounds like fuse or relay. This assumes it was driven recently, and not stored for more than a week.

Some of the FZJ100 came with 24V system in middle east, but mainly for army. Tell him to check voltage on the batteries, if battery is good, than it can be main fuse link or 100 other things. Your description is way too vague to suggest better troubleshooting.
