Was your out the door price $172.99/tire? If that's the case, that was a deal. I had to pay for taxes, installation, and road hazard insurance (no alignment since the 80s don't need alignment).

No way. That's the price per tire not including everything else. I ain't that lucky...

80's do need alignment... alignment should be checked.... and adjusted as needed.

so how many miles did you get out of the last set?

I just found my reciept from when I bought mine 29 K ago and they still have tons of tread on 'em left.

Lots of gashes in the sidewalls that are pretty deep, but still workin.

Bought'em in December of '04. Replaced them last Saturday-8/30/08. I had about 90K miles on the vehicle them when I got the Revo's installed. I have 162K on the vehicle now.

Through baking deserts highways, rough Moab trails, vacations epic and short, local desert trails and everything in between I put ~72K miles on those tires! If I would have rotated them regularly, I could have gotten more. The rears still had some life left in them.

72K miles! Awesome.

What do you guys have your tires inflated to?

I've put nearly 65k on my Revo's and have kept them @ 38psi plus rotation every 6k.

Luv em !

Nice. I have the same year vehicle and the same rear bumper set-up...

38psi? Good to know.

Just put on a set of 285/75 Revo's to replace some 275/70 H/L's that had about 35K miles and tread left but were 6 years old. Not wild about losing a tire at 65 mph so decided to be safe and replace early.

So far the Revo's were a good choice, liking the bigger tire size.
