Hi All,

My 60s blower fan and AC light etc stopped working on the instrument panel

Feels like a fuse but under the hook on RHS and fuse panel i didnt find any blown ones.

Other places fuses are kept?

Thnaks so much luv the posts

You blew your circuit breaker. Depending on the year it is under the dash or in the fuse box. Just stick a paper clip in the little hole to reset it, and all will be good.

It is a round little jobby about a half inch in diameter with a little hole in it for the reset, like Dynosoar mentioned. Under the dash, just to the left of the steering wheel, IIRC.

DANGER! I reset mine for years and my wiring harness under the dash is toast now. Random things started failing and when I took out the harness it was a bit, er, crunchy. It is ok to reset it, but please check into your fan motor and don't get lazy like me. The overcurrent causes the wires to heat, which is never good, especially when all the wires are bundled together...

to isbj40: thanks for the advice. I have had my blower motor continually cutting out,and I keep just resetting it. Duh!?! I plan on flushig the whole heating system this fall, now I have some electrical to do too!

electric motors start to draw more and more power as they get old. I had a motor in a two speed diff blow 3 controller boards before it was finally replaced. If you are blowing that breaker on a regular basis, might be time to replace that motor. It's only 20+ years old.
