I've been searching for a '13-'15 LX so have looked through dozens of service histories on drivers.lexus.com. Noticed something today I've never seen before, an entry for a speeding citation. I imagine that means the tech was test-driving before/after service and got a ticket? Anyone seen that before? What is the oddest or funniest thing you've seen in a service history?

That is funny. Whats even funnier, that address is for the High School that I graduated from in 1977 (Loch Raven High), and I grew up about a mile from there. I can report that road is heavily patrolled, as its an awesome windy road to drive rather "spirited", shall we say. I drove that road many times, but somehow never got dinged.

I too know this place! I worked as a college intern just a mile up from LockRaven High school. I used to commute back roads from Bel Air and can attest that road is fun! Maryland is crazy with speed cameras all around.

In my search for a LX570, came across this service description. I'm new to Lexus, so I'm curious. Can anyone confirm that the hot sauce treatment is in the Service Manual?

That's a CYA notation from the service advisor. After the floor mat issues he/she is protecting themselves and the dealer.

Ha! Here's a note in my recently purchased 2018 LX of the previous owner:

I doubt hot sauce on the wires would last very long, but Honda does sell a special "rodent tape" that is supposed to have capsaicin in it, the hot part of peppers. Not cheap but it's supposed to work really well.

I thought they put the hot sauce on the squirrel.
