o.k. so I did a search on hydro steering. I didn't come up with what I need.

All I need to know is what is the best angle to setup rams on?
I have been told that when the double ended ram is fully extended to one side the tube connecting steering arm and ram should be straight with the least amount of deflection possible.

Cheers Davo.

Thanx dude but that only confirms what I already know:
Installation is a very critical part of having your steering work properly. Jeff told me that most ram failures are due to improper installation. The double ended ram should see no side loading in the steering. This means that placement of the ram is critical. When figuring out where to install your ram, be sure to cycle the steering in both directions to ensure you have proper geometry.

Am looking for specifics here.

That's basically it.

when i did my double ended ram i used the stock bar to help with placement. turn wheel to full lock put straight line on some sort of template, then go full lock the other way and do same this should show you were the ram should go. tack everything in place then check it. also having clevises on ram that can twist will help with any funky twisting you might get when going lock to lock. psc's kit is most bang for the buck give you everything you need but pump bracket i have ran mine for two years no problems.
