I have a line on a lower mileage full float rear for my 60. I understand it is easier to install ARB and has a greater load carrying capacity, but why else would I want it?

if those two reasons are not important for you, maybe you don't want it ?

No c-clips, and if you need more incentive than that, well, just trust me its worth it.

ARB install is not a huge deal at all.

Load carrying capacity?? How much weight are you planning on carrying in the back of your 60?

C clips are not eh best design out there but they function very well. Are you afraid of breaking a rear axle?

Have you ever broken a fron stock Birf?

If the axle is cheap enough then get it. BUt only cause you want to.

IMHO the FF cruiser axles are not something to spend a lot of money on. Mostly because they are not much of an upgrade.

Kurt at cruiser outfitters has had significantly less breakage since he went with a FF rear tho.

You can easily find them for ~ $350.

To me, that is too much for the cool factor..

And no one mentioned should you break an axle, your wheel won't fall off...

Also, rebuilding the FF with new bearings and everything was a snap.

But I gotta say, the size of the semi-float axle vs the FF... Well, you won't believe your eyes.
