I need to have some FIs cleaned and flow tested. Does anyone have a recommnedation for a local shop.

I used Central Motive. They are a diesel service shop. Kinda pricey though. About 30 bucks a pop. But they were quick, I had them back in less than a week.

Hi Greg:

I know that Ali and I have used Rich Larsen at Cruzin Performance

I spoke with him on the phone before I sent the injectors out and was impressed with his knowledge. He's a Chevy and Dodge guy, IIRC, but has high respect for the Denso product.

My injectors cost $96 (including shipping back and forth). He sends the "worn" parts back so you can see what was done to them.

Drop him a line.

Good luck.

Are you talking about your Chebby throttle body, or did you get something else?

This is for the 944. The PO put some flaky injectors in from "Mr. Injector" and the electrical connections don't fit right so I'm always getting random misses. I have the old ones but want to get them reconditioned before putting them back in.

Come to think of it, can Ryan do this service?

i used a place on Jefferson just north of Paseo. i think it was called "Jerry's Automotive". got them back same day. price was very reasonable, don't recall exactly what it was.

i used a place on Jefferson ...

I ended up using some "old" ones that I had. Doused them in carb cleaner and blew 'em out with compressed air. Runs smooth as silk...

Dr. Injector in Gladstone Oregon, flows them and cleans. You get the full chart with the return.

$18 each was what I paid the last time on my 62.
