I have a 66 fj40 stock except a 2bbl Weber carb. After sitting a week it's almost impossible to start as all the fuel drains out of carb. I have to pump throttle a lot for it to fire? Thanks for help, james

That's typical. Even though there is liquid fuel in your bowl, all the fumes evaporate. So a prepump or prime is typical.

I’ve done the poor man’s prime for about 10 years and use Pyroil starting fluid.
