hello all I am posting this for a fellow mudder in need of some help and thought I'd just share with everyone.
My rig is a 91 fj80. I had recently purchased a new set of wheels and tires from 4wheel parts shipped to my door step.
They were the fuel beast d564 in 17x9 3.5 offset. They claim to have an 108mm bore ID but here's the catch. they have and inner lip that is roughly 1-2mm that prevents wheel from fully seating on front hubs. Fj80's do not have full float rear axle so they Will fit on the rear no problems.
I called 4wheel parts and told them my issue and ask if it would void warranty by removing that lip, they said it shouldn't be a problem but I would call for yourself first and not take my word for it.
Soo I got my cordless drill and a barrel sander bit I got from harbor freight and carefully went to town. I sanded the inner lip flush on all four tires to get them mounted up clean with no more problems.
I love these wheels and did not feel bad at all doing it, just be warned it's not a bolt on and done deal.
