Absolutely love my LX470. Before this, I had an 80 series.. both were maintained and baselined by Torfab in Everett. Lots of Land Cruiser lover and ownership here..
My current '01 LX470 is a gem.. very clean with tasteful mods and 280k on the clock. Dissent Front Bumper, 33" BFGs on Icon Wheels, Metaltech Sliders, upgraded android head unit, rear camera, speakers, underseat sub, hydraulic suspension works like a dream.. zero issues with the truck and the paint is super clean along with the interior. Zero stories and I daily drive it.
I sold my 80 series for a 100 series so I can haul our boat better. We upgraded boats and now the LX just doesn't haul our ski boat well over the mountain. I'm considering a 2nd gen 5.7L Tundra to stay in the Toyota family and increase my trailering load.
