Up for sale is my 85' Landcruiser. The LC has approximately 274,000 miles on it. The tires probably have about 85% tread left(If not more). It is currently my Daily Driver and gives me no problems. I use a block heater on the cold nights and she starts up every morning just fine. I have recently replaced the smog/air pump. This needed to be replaced because the power steering pump is leaking on the smog/air pump. With that said the power steering pump will need to be replaced in the near future. All of the smog equipment is there and in place. The front glass has a crack running vertically through it. The previous owner caulked the front glass on the outside and inside, it works but doesn't look good up close on the outside. The inside looks quite good. The interior is in great shape for a vehicle that is 26-27 years old. The front seats have no rips or tears and the rear seat has one small cigarette burn, from years ago, I don't smoke and the cruiser doesn't smell of smoke. The 60 has very minimal rust, none of it eating through, only surface at this time. (Except for rear drivers side wheel well, it has a 3" size run that has just started to eat through the first layer) It comes with a full size spare and Thule racks(not the ones pictured). These cars are great for the Montana life style. I drive her about 40 miles round trip on my working days and she has to pull up the first part of the Bozeman Pass to get home and does well keeping her speed. I believe the timing is off on this engine, but truely needs to be gone through and possibley needs to be overhauled ( remember she has done her first tour with 274,000 miles) This cruiser would be a great start for a guy looking to do a frame up restore. This would be a great vehicle to have if you live and work in town and want to venture out on the weekends.
I bought this LC to drive this winter with plans on selling it this spring. ( I got this one on a great deal) I'm selling so that I can get into a FJ-40 in the near future. If it doesn't sell I'm not going to be disappointed, in fact I wish I could have the 60 and the FJ-40 both but money dictates.
I would like to trade her for a 91 or newer cruiser, as I still need a daily driver until I get into a 40. I would be willing to pay a difference in cash for the right vehicle.
I'm asking 3000 obo.
