TRUCK: 2002 Lexus LX470
MILEAGE: 145,803
ASKING: SOLD
LOCATION: Atlanta

For sale is a 2002 Lexus LX470 fully rigged for offroading, overlanding, and camping. I've owned it since Thanksgiving 2016 and it was bought in New Orleans. I bought it stock. The car has no rust and has never been in the north. It has always been garage kept by the previous owners and still is garaged kept today. I am selling because I simply do not use the vehicle enough and also my family and I have outgrown it. The condition of the truck is very clean inside and out but we do use it the way it was built so there are definitely some mud stains in the undercarriage and wheel well. This truck is ready to hit the mountains and do some serious camping. Below are all the mods:

SUSPENSION & TIRES
  • 3" Heavy Duty OME lift with differential drop (hydraulic suspension removed)
  • Five 295/70/16 BF Goodrich K02's (I've got 10k miles on it and do a 5 tire rotation every 3k miles)

EXTERIOR & RECOVERY
  • ARB Bull Bar Front Bumper with fog lights
  • Snorkel
  • Custom built rock sliders
  • Custom built rear bumper with dual swing outs (1 for spare, 1 for 2x jerry cans)
  • Warn Zeon 10s winch with synthetic rope
  • Factor 55 Flatlink
  • 2 water jerry cans with spouts
  • LED rock lights (great for camping)
  • LED light in galley area (cooking at night)

POWER
  • National Luna Dual battery system with battery monitor
  • Odyssey deep cycle aux battery
  • Slee dual battery holder
  • Rear blue seas fuse box (ready to add more aux items)
  • Rear switches
  • Power Inverter

INTERIOR
  • Custom rear mounting board
  • ARB 37Qt Fridge Freezer with cover
  • Adventure Trailer Fridge Slide Combo with Partner Steel Stove
  • Custom built drawer system

SOME THINGS TO NOTE:
  • It does not have differential locks...only the center lock.
  • I've removed the third row seats (still have them) and installed a custom mounting plate for the fridge slide and drawer system. However, I cut out holes for the seat mounts. You can install the 3rd row seats back in very easily if you remove the slide and drawer system.
  • Has a deep scratch on the rear drive side door (see pic).
  • One of the ARB fog lights lens is broke. Prob from a rock on the freeway. Light still works.
  • I will also add a Warn recovery bag that includes gloves, recovery/tree straps, shackles, snatch blocks.

Sent you a text to that number and got a text back saying wrong number. Will send a PM.

Priced too low, IMO. I calculate $9k in real, solid upgrades. Bring it to CA and I'll go get you the cash today.

Great color too. Don't see too many in that color.

Oh man! That's insane and awesome @ Cali! LOL.

Well - someone's going to be very happy soon :)

FWIW: To anybody looking at this rig. Look with confidence! GA rigs, that have stayed in GA their entire life generally do not have rust. My 2000, didn't have a spot of rust on it.

GLWS!

I will parrot this for AL rigs as well. Mine sold new in AL and lived in AL it's whole life. I read threads about PB blaster this and that - first time I torqued torsion bars it was sitting on flat pavement. No problems. O2 sensors - no problems. YMMV

Thanks @OverlandLife! The LX is still in Clemson - I couldn't pry it from my son's hands yesterday ... but it will be coming to Charleston tomorrow. Looking forward to some fun trips in this rig!
