Well I rolled my truck a few months back, and so it is up for sale. Been told that repairs would cost around 6-7k (CDN), so going to sell the truck as parts or to be rebuilt, title is currently clean.

Details are 1992 HDJ81 with 150,000 km
Lockers,
Brand new 37 Michelins on Work wheels
What appears to be a zeal 8" lift
4 BFG 35s (some cracking)
Aftermarket exhaust

I have about $20,000 into the truck, looking for offers around $9k
 
And this fine truck is located ......???????
What SPECIFICALLY needs to be repaired?
Does it now run?
 
Auto or manual tranny. Where in Alberta are you? Calgary, Edmonton??
 
Truck is located in Calgary, Alberta Canada. Truck is also an Auto.

Truck needs rear quarter, fender, and the roof is tweaked quite a bit
 
There are quite a few parts I would like to buy off you if you are willing to part out a little. I will pm you with contact info ( I live in Calgary). We could settle up by the end of the week if you are interested.

THAT'S what I would do! It would be LHD too so no more RHD problems from the "Safety Nazi's" (keep the LHD title for ease of future insurance).

Find an '80 with a blown engine or tranny and away you go. Part out whatever is not needed. You'd probably get into a truck for $2000 or less (depending on what you recover on parting out the remains) plus labor and what you currently have in parts.
 
I would love to go this route. Unfortunately I am getting married in the spring, so my time, and finances are a little stretched at the moment. Hopefully someone else will pick this up from me, and drop everything into a LHD.

Kief, you need to simply swap bodies and the steering gear and then drive the diesel rig back! That's what I recommended to Nick when he rolled his '81 a couple of years ago.
 
I'm looking for lots of interior pieces (if it's brown or tan). Also looking for winch plate, corner marker lights, etc.

Let me know if you start parting out.

That's quite a deal at 9k Cdn. Equals $7449 U.S. Grab a trailer, half cut it and bring it on in.;)
