Just wondering if the front and passenger seat foam is the same size and shape. My drivers side is more warn than the passenger side and I will be replacing the covers so thought I might be able to swap them so i am more comfortable and well so what about the passenger lol
I used a "cheap fabric steamer" to pump hot moist steam into the foam. I feel like it helped build some springiness back into the foam. I also added some new 1" medium density foam on top as well. This also shows the asymmetry of the seat passenger cushion. I put the seat heater back on top and I beveled the foam edges.
Anyone out there replace the foam with OEM? I feel like I'm sitting on metal now a days and it's destroying my back. Need to get some more cushion under me arseee.

Looks good, what's the verdict was it worth it for the extra comfort points? What shape was your leather in, were you able to get it off and back on without it falling apart?

Huge difference in comfort, definitely worth it. As far as my butt could tell it was a new vehicle. My leather was/is in good condition so it fit the new foam fine. If your rig spent a lot of time in the desert the leather may have shrunk.

Thanks for the info, yeah my leather is torn up and spent it's life in vegas before living here in Montana.
Let the research begin on replacement leather. Debating between a few different options from L-Seats, to LCH, to made in the US Richmond Auto leather. Anywhere from $350 to over $1k

What was your verdict on the seat back foam? It's hard to tell how much, if any, mine has compressed. If going in to replace leather and foam, is it worth thinking about changing the seat back foam as well or just keep original.
I spoke with LCH and they seem to think the seat backs usually aren't all that bad and just replace the bottom.

Copy that, just for future on lookers. Part numbers below for bottom seat cushions and yes they differ from both sides. I think it's time to break the piggy bank and invest in some comfort points.

Does anyone know why the passenger side foam I received had a plug on it, and the drivers side does not? These are part numbers 7150160070 and 7150260090.
