Front seat foam are the drivers and passengers the same ?

Does anyone know why the passenger side foam I received had a plug on it, and the drivers side does not? These are part numbers 7150160070 and 7150260090.

For weight sensor, something to do with the airbags ( I think ) When it doesn't detect weight the air bag should turn off over there?
