Any one know off hand what the front and rear rotor thickness is?

Sorry, FSM is at home.

disc specs

Overlord - I don't know it offhand, but since I'm stewing on my leaking rr pinion seal my FSM is in my lap, and here's what it says...

Front
standard thickness - 32mm
minimum thickness - 30mm

Rear
standard thickness - 18mm
minimum thickness - 16mm

Best Regards,

for fj60 or fzj80?

Hey Sean,

Just noticed your siggy...fj60...did you want the specs for your 60 or for an 80? I gave you specs for an 80. I can look up the 60 later this evening when I'm back home though...

Not to hijack, but how do you like the cable lockers on your 60. I covet those fierce! Gotta feed the kids first though...

Best Regards,

Best Regards,

I’m looking for the info on the 80 series rotors as I have the 60 series FSM. I'm thinking of swapping in a rear 80 series axle to get some more width plus I want rear disk brakes. I'm planning on doing a SOA and the extra width would be nice, although I might just go with the link/coil setup, who knows.

I wanted to know the rotor thickness because I was wondering if front 80 calipers would work in the rear. From my research, the rear uses floating calipers and I want fixed/non-floating type. I deal with a lot of mud up here in Alaska and read that when floating calipers clog up with mud, they don't function very well.

I love the cable lockers. They work similarly to the e-locker, but no solenoid. Just pull the lever and you're locked. It's still not intonations because you still have to wait for the side gear to line up with the dog clutch. I have LED on the dash to tell me when they're engaged. I hear you on feeding the kids first, the cable locker setup was not cheap.
