The longest scratch in the first photo slightly catches my fingernail.
Am I going to need a sleeve?
If so, where can I get them? Does Toyota sell them?

Doing TB service. I really do not want to have to disassemble the entire car again just for the seal

No sleeves.

The only time I see crankshaft seal leak. Is when they've been replaced. Marred, is one of the reasons they leak. Other reason, they leak: Not seated squarely, not OEM seal.

I use a fine sandpaper, like a Wet or Dry, emery, etc.. ~500 or greater grit, to polish crankshaft of any burrs. If needed, I'll take burr down with a tinny fine file or coarse grit sandpaper. Even a knife sharpening stone. New OEM seal, can be set out or in from flush (ideal) just a tad. To avoid deep marreing groove. Make sure seal set, squarely.

Make sure to use, sealer on the tension pulley bolt threads.

These are not, high pressure oil seals. Like O-rings are. So if you do a good job. If any leak, it will be very minor.

Ill give sanding a shot. Should I sand around the entire crank or just the area with the marring? If it does leak, do you recon it will damage the t-belt? or will the crank sprocket in front of the seal protect it?
I am particularly worried about the long scratch because it goes from the front to the back of the seal area.
Thank you for such a detailed response!

The ring around (seal rides), just polish. But start with; long scratch, smooth high ridge down. Avoid making any flat spots, by working 360 degrees around as you polish.

Leak here or elsewhere, will not likely every get on belt.
