Front inner brake hose connection at the axle - does this look ok? (2 Viewers)

Was this supposed to seat flush? I don't remember if the hose i took off did. These are not OEM hoses - these are BrakeBest brand from O'Reilly.

I've been replacing the front left caliper and hoses (and the starter, and some other stuff) gradually with whatever daylight i can steal, as i have a full time job and no garage.

My wrench tells me this is as far in as it goes. I haven't tried to seriously bleed the brakes yet.

if it bottomed out your good, even the other lines and fittings will show some threads when fully tightened

That caliper was always sketchy but a couple weeks ago this rig went from pulling a little to the right on hard braking to pulling really hard to the right on hard braking.

fwiw the BrakeBest reman caliper looks fine to me, at $50 + $22 core charge. I will be sure to report back here if there are any issues with it.
