Had some time and needed to get the PTO winch installed. So the fit up and fab work started. Bumper body is 2x6 .120 wall, 1/4" making the connections, and 1"x2" clevis mounts welded directly to the frame mounts. Had two errors, one being the weld joint which is facing forward on the 2x6 and the other was a miscalculation on the hole for the Clovis mounts...oops! I guess the great thing about metal is you just weld some back on.

I had picked up a harbor freight horizontal bandsaw, not bad for harbor freight, little bit of set up and this thing cuts like a champ!

Hopefully I'll be able to get it buttoned up here soon! I think it needs a light bar and maybe a high lift and shovel mount...

Does any one have a hawse fairlead for steel cable? I have a new roller fairlead but not sure it's going to fit correctly on the bumper. I'd be willing to trade or pay cash.

Jared,
Is the bracket that mounts the bumper to your frame a piece of plate or L-shaped angle. I can't tell from here. If it's just flat plate, I might suggest you look at adding at least one flange. Just plate will have very little lateral stiffness.

I have one someplace you can have.

It is plate steel, i was planning on beefing up that area for some increased lateral stiffness.

Lightbar...Joey...LAHB!!

That would be awesome, thanks Pappy! Let me know when you find it and ill come pick it up.

Nice job Jarrad! Can we see a closeup or two of the mounting location on the chassis?

Looks good, I like how the clevis is not just welded to the front of the bumper. All the pulling force for the clevis will go straight to the frame. Nice!

Now you feel like trying to make one for the front of my Lexus?

Little bit of progress on the bumper.

Couple pics of the attachment points. The bumper attaches to the outside of the frame. The PTO attaches to the inside of the frame on the factory brackets. The winch sits in between these two brackets and the bumper.
