Nice bro, I love this machine.. love. I'm glad I had a dude like you to talk to about it a little. Your work is amazing man truly. Everything I've seen is top notch. So your building a cart right? Looks like 1 1/4"?

Thanks duder! Yeah 1.5 hrew for days

I like it. I notice we have the same grinder :rainbow:.
Like how you capped the ends of the tubes. Thats what sets the good fabricators apart details.
I build a modular work station today and cut steel for my upcoming builds.
Finally got a bull bar worth talking about, need a big belt sander to make those compound miters a little easier.
Had to take off the air over hydro on my bender and bolt it back to the floor it sucked. To damn slow and the design isnt the greatest. The cylinder was leaking at the seal and it was pain to retract for a reset on the die. Just gonna stick with doing it the old fashion way for now. :crybaby:

Everything is dewalt, even the sawzall.

Got some chain hooks on those capped tubes.

Hydro cylinder air bound?

IDK I just think the set up isnt optimal for what it's suppose to do. The cylinder isn't suppose to be horizontal that's problem #1. I've been looking for a hydro pump and cylinder for awhile now and thought I'd try this till I find what I'm looking for.

I made mounted a $80 harbor freight air over hydro to mine but mounted it at about 5/7 degrees (toward the fill). Ditched the Chinese junk fluid and topped it off, works good. I think it's close to repin on the follower dye in one stroke, but if I don't lube it's hard to release

I can see it now... "Meet singles at IH8MUD today!" :flipoff2:

Kidding you guys, this has been an interesting thread to keep up with. Underdawg, when are you gonna build a rear bumper for us? Need a nice bolt on example with recovery points... Go.

I think the threads pretty rad since you get a detailed view of how your bumper is fully welded out and what's going on during its manufacture. More personal than a factory order form and 'Buy it now' click :D

With a little grinder.com mixed in...

Gotta take the wife out on the town tonight 17 years anniversary  so no work being done today. But I do have another bumper design to show and some stinger styles I would like some in put on. Will post sometime tomorrow. Monday will be the start of the bumper builds.
Booger quit giving away our secrets to these guys..:flipoff2:

I made a several inquiries about the quality, design, etc.--some of the respondents were very detailed and others were vague, but all were positive regarding Underdawgs work. My research reveals his quality and design is well beyond that of the brand names (e.g. ARB, Slee, etc.). I don't know anything about welds or bumpers so I have ask experts. The unbiased consensus is that the price, quality, design, function, form and ease of assembly are A+ (I'm a teacher so I grade everything).

I ordered a bumper from UnderDawg this morning.

Zona

There's a price?!?! Where? I didn't see one. Underdawg, what's the price sans shipping?

And will continue to be a great post with sum progress pics :P

Weekends over back to the shop!! Tons of new stuff coming this week. Rack are shipping this week too guys!!! I got 4 racks hanging out in my garage and I need them gone!! UPS is like the government it seems, highly inefficient. I really appreciate the patience guys while I battled it out with them to get good rates.
Watch for a new version of a rack and bumper!!! Of course I'll be looking for your input and if anyone would like to see something that just isnt offered by other companies speak up. I wanna give you guys exactly what your after.
