Front Axle job on a BJ60

I've got all the parts from Dan. I know I should try this myself but in the absence of the proper motivation, what is a fair price to pay a back yard mechanic to do this job?

You'll have a hard time finding an experienced one, and an inexperienced one won't have the motivation to do it right that you do.

Take the $ you'd be willing to spend & bribe yourself. Like with a new pair of sliders.
