after you sell these, let me know- I got a set you could get 20K for! if you can move em, I'll split it 5050 and even cover the shipping from my half...waiting by the phone...
anytime....
hit me up, I could use the money for some more scratchers

Hence the "OBO"....

Honestly don't know what they're worth. Know the front isn't worth anything, but the rear may be.

Someone make an offer. I'm trying to move what won't be used, to clear up space and free up funds for either of my over budget "builds".

If it's to get attention, you have mine!

Precisely, sir.

Just wait....thinking about a $100k F engine parts next. Bahaha.

(Joking, before a mod PMs)

I even had to see what $5000 seats looked like.

Not like those listed, obviously.

Don't know what they're worth to anyone, but this ain't eBay, so a price has to be posted.

Why not post a price that'll garner more attention?

I'm serious. If someone has the slightest interest in, at least the rear, make me an offer.

Have to lessen the stockpile and can't bear to scrap anything.

nobody deal with Delancey until you first check with me! i have a rear seat in better shape for only $50 more than his! sorry no pics at this time.

nobody deal with Delancey

It's Delancy and go start your own completely ludicrous ad!

(Joking, James.)

There ought to be a communal pig parts pile that we can send these value-less rare treasures for future generations of restorers.

Can't bear to throw it away, but can't keep either, along with almost three engines and what's left if the parts pig.

i have 200 SF stacked 6' of stuff that i dont need. i cant keep it or bear to throw it away. who has a 50,000 SF warehouse they are not using that could be used for pig long term storage? if you dont need it, it seems worthless. if need it, you just about cant find it.

Here's the way it works for me, proven last week with the employee who assisted the witness.

I've had a certain cache of a very ugly red building trim stored for about three years. It was a HUGE investment and a mistake on my companies part.

Also had a smaller cache of a very odd trim detail, one very uncommon, but it was boxed so I stored.

I told said employee that, as soon as we loaded and took to scrap, we'd have a need for both and, literally (no BS), within 24 hours closed one deal with the ugly red trim and a repair call that would've utilized the other.

C'est la vie. At least we've work to do.

That's my luck with this stuff, too. I could keep all for many years, scrap, then immediately find need for, BUT I don't want to wind up on a TLC show, even though the track record is proven.

yep, thats the life. i suspect when my rolling parts rig gets dismissed, i will need it. however, i am a believer in sending things on to the next guy when i no longer have an immediate need for it. i sleep better at night knowing that stuff that i dont need is being used by someone. eventually, it comes back to you.

what would be good to know is the demand potential out there for pigs and pig parts. is the market shrinking? are there fewer folks who want them and fewer willing to go to the trouble and expense of restoring them? i think we need a few more to jump in and start restoring a few of them.

I think it's on the upswing, based on perusal a of worldwide TLC pages and the general sentiments toward Pigs.

They're unique, iconic, and historical to the lineage of the TLC family, birthing the later wagons and 70s exterior styling and utilitarianism, a departure from the jeep (generalized) 40s.

Think they have the greatest impact on those that aren't TLC or offroad enthusiast, since most either love 'em or hate 'em.

i know that i own the first one i ever saw. i have only seen two others...my parts rig and some local guy had a yellow one from MT for sale for awhile. it disappeared, prob sold halfway across the continent.
