For Toyotas you can go to Toyota Owners Official Web Site and create an account. Then enter your vehicles. It will bring up any service records Toyota has on file. There is at least one glitch. It only seems to work for newer vehicles. It didn't like my 1985 VIN.
Also, Carfax.com has a feature where you can enter your "garage." Click the button "My Car Maintenance" at the top, create an account (or sign in). From there you can enter up to 8 cars. Select "Service History" and it brings up maintenance records.
