Awesome. I love seeing what someone with some great fabrication skills can do.

My fabrication is blacksmith level.

Dang! Stoked to see the RCLT once that gets in!

Hoping to get some shop time in to button up all the looming little projects this week, rewire reverse lights, add rock lights to a switch along with their current door switch wiring, finish up the dual battery setup, axle seals, reroute the PS return to name a few. RCLT should ship this week.

wow looks insane. definitely interested to hear your on road driving experience with the kit. looks super good. interesting that they decided to go with a oem style inner tie rod instead of a heim.

Really like your set up. The paint to match bumpers, sliders and snorkel is great looking. What snorkel are you running? The mount has body lines in it. Have not seen that one before. Also painting to match 👍🏼

those are the McQueen fiberglass fenders, they come regular or with snorkel mount since they are wider and fiberglass this is the only way to mount one… it’s a pocket built into the fender.

Any modifications needed to install the 200 series steering rack, and do the inners tie rods thread into GX470 outers, or does the tapper on the 200 series outer tie rod fit in the GX knuckle?

You have to cut the frame to clear the rack’s gear box, there is a hole that needs to be drilled on the passenger side with brace sleeve welded in to mount the right side for the new mount. It reuses the differential mount on the left side. The TRE will not work without some sort of custom machining… the inner TRE on the 200 rack is 1.5x bigger than the GX rack, the kit comes with a solid arm threaded on each end to accept the heim joint and the ITR from 200 rack. There are extensive install instructions on marlin website in regards to install. If you had custom outlets made it might be possible to swap the racks but there is also a sector shaft modification to make the old steering mount to the new rack as well.

Measurement taken underneath the lower shock mount in both pictures… moving the CV axle more in line with LCA gains tons of clearance underneath the LCA not previously available and this is on the same tires that came off the rig… huge improvement to the equivalent of going from a 31-37” tire without changing tires.
