Sorry for the delay. Between work, being sick, interviewing for new jobs, etc. I have totally flaked on shipping these. I'm really busy and I probably should not have offered to do this but my intentions were good so thanks for your patience.

The machine work is great. I wish I could post a pic, but I can't from work. A big thank you to Ballistic for agreeing to do this for us.

There are 3 lengths of bolts on the truck. Short, medium, and long. The Long ones are in the front end where the tow hook sits on top of the tie down bracket. These longer size bolts are the correct size for mounting the Front Recovery Bracket. I ordered some bolts in this size and they sent me the one equivalent to the medium ones. I should have the correct ones Monday.

I have almost everything boxed up and should ship on Tuesday assuming I get the bolts. If I don't have the bolts, I will ship for those who didn't request them...

You can square up for shipping and hardware after you get them. I'll give you a note if you owe me anything more.

I hope things are getting better with your health and job.. you've been nice enough to spend your free time arranging this for all of us, so thank you for that :)

About the delay, don't sweat it, we'll manage "getting unstuck" without them for now :grinpimp:

I still don't have the correct bolts. Had to call a new supplier and will have them in a couple days... The other guy couldn't find them. What a pain in the ass that was.

The bolt size is 14mm bolt x 80mm shaft and the head size is 22mm. Fine thread pitch is 1.5!!!

I don't know who did not want the hardware so I'm sending everyone hardware. The hardware is included in the $50 each bracket price.

So I should be shipping the 28th or 29th for real this time...

:o

These are 14mm bolt x 90mm shaft (grade 10.9 metric) and the head size is 19mm.

Who was your supplier? I need another 14mm 10.9 bolt.

Thanks,

I finally got the wrong bolts again. I have the correct length but asked for the wrong pitch. So they were course instead of fine.

Needless to say, will be in next week...

Feel free to lynch me...

anything?

No lynching... yet

Any sign these might get shipped this week of next?

Thanks c-mari

I've searched extensively for high-strengh, M14x1.5 bolts. My regular suppliers found nothing. I found one place online, over $5/bolt, and I had to order $180 worth. Are you getting these from Toyota by specifying that bracket?

My guy called and left me a message on my cell. The bolts are in Vegas and I will be there later today and be able to pick them up and ship everything Mondayish;) This should be really for real this time:o

The bolts were hard to source to say the least. I owe this guy at Copperstate a few beers, let me tell you. They went outside their normal channels to get me the bolts. I was able to source them cheap enough to include them in the original $50 each bracket price even.

If these are not the right bolts I'm thinking hari-kiri, to save at least some face...

Kudos for not supplying the brackets and leaving your customers to find the impossible to find bolts! My quest to design brackets is beginning with the hardest part: finding these bolts. I'll design around whatever bolts I can find. I didn't jump into this group buy, since I didn't have a 100 then, and I design and build brackets regularly anyway.

Scott,

My truck had a few of the needed bolts already on it. Some of them are shorter versions, depending on what corner they were on and if there was a tie down or a tie down and a hook. I didn't want to assume anyone had the right numbers/sizes available to them...

Not sure about differences from year to year...

Better to send the bolts with the brackets!

Ok, finally have the correct bolts and all the packages are ready to ship! Should arrive in a couple days!

The bolt size is 14mm bolt x 80mm shaft and the head size is 22mm. Fine thread pitch is 1.5!!! Washers are included.

The head size on the Toyota bolts is 19mm, but whatever.

I painted mine with black rust resistant paint after cleaning them.
