Found a soultion for replacement of light bulb condoms

I found this paint at a craft store for creating fauxe stain glass widows, and it seems to dry to sort of a rubbery texture, which I am hoping will hold up to the heat from the bulbs. I'll give an update in a few days, to see how well it works.

Are you talking about the lil bulbs for the instrument panel? If so, PM CruiserDan. He sells them...cheap. Set me up w/ the right color to match the factory color of my cluster in an aftermarket h20 temp gauge I still need to install....

I'm talking about the ones for the climate control system, when I went to the dealer asking about them, they told me I was out of luck unless I bought a whole new control unit. The larger sized bulbs I know where to find the covers easily

Weird, I took one into the dealer and didn't have to say anything except how many I wanted..... They did only have 4 though, so I got them all. Sounds like you have a (edit) uuuuuum... dumb dealer.
