Dan- I never pushed it too far. Anyone that thinks that thing is worth $2k is crazy. I can give you his number if you want PM me. Do You want it...You can stay at my house if you roadtrip to get it?

I may call him tonight and just let him know...basically survey says $800, not $2k.

I get mad when folks try to con me. Just like vintage. Nobody likes being sold up the river. I wasted 2 hrs to go see this turd.

that was thought. $800 would be about it. in fact I had a hard time not laughing when I saw this. If this is straight and clean then I am Tom Cruise.

This is the same guy that painted a mint 65 SWB 45 - PURPLE. He told me he wondered why it only went to $9k on EBAY even though it was/is mint. Perfect original hubcaps. I mean this truck is mint and he wonders why it didn't go above $9k. Some guy in FL bought it and I think will be repainting it. At least I hope.

I saw the purple 45swb on interstate 90 today. It was on the top and in the middle of a car carrier heading east while I was on my way to Seattle near Wallace ID. I saw the front then the rear in the mirror. It looked a lot better color then it did on ebay but sill not a color I would go with assuming it was the same rig. But It did look nice at a glance.


I guess the truck is heading to its new home.

It is headed to FL if we are talking about the same truck. Some guy in FL paid 9k. Hope he saved enough to correct that awful paint.
