Also TP/WP performed at:

Is it odd that Lexus did not pick up the previous WP/TB service?

Thanks, Nelson

If they found shavings in the OCV (oil control valves) that means there were metal shavings in the engine. Couldn't have been from the timing belt I don't think because the VVT-i engines will lock up/not run if the timing is off.

Any kind of metal for me would be a hard pass. The 2UZ is an amazing engine but if someone abused or neglected it you could have issues down the road.

The alternator drive belt is the serpentine belt, not the timing belt. Other than calling it the "alternator/water pump belt" they didn't miss anything there.

I also would hard pass on the metal shavings alone.

Fortunately then i passed. Dealer added $500 BS fee that pissed me off.
