What an awesome event. I had a great time. I thank everyone for their individual contributions - from cooking to cleaning, to good conversation or just being there. This really did feel like a really big family event!

and the Turkey Trot has motivated to me get barney(my 40) rolling again. Painting the T-case

That is very brave of you to paint that color on a transfer case, the rig may develop a tendency to flop over or roll in an effort to shake the offending piece off!

Definately a big thank you to Luis and his family for the wonderful food. Lots of 40's to represent, a couple particularly nice ones to boot. It was a great relaxing day, and many thanks to everyone who put it together. There were a lot of trucks there this year, good turnout (prolly the food!).

Hope everyone had a pleasant return ride home.

shaaa i kept waking up in the middle of the night (sunday night)in a panic thinking Steve and Rocky were trying to put lip stick and make-up on me.. Oh well something to talk about in therapy this week.

Turkey Trot was great again as usual, many thanks to Luis and family for the amazing food. Steve, glad to hear that spring got you home. Looking forward to next time.

What a great weekend !

I do believe we covered just about everything one could do at an event .

1) We had an amazing dinner cooked up by Madalin and family . (Sorry Luis I really know who cooks)

2) We had two wonderful nights for sitting around a campfire and having a good time . ( Hope Archie will still talk to me )

3) We had a exciting " blind fold competition " put on by Austin & Megan ( Great Job )
I think Jeff won it with Justin coming in second .

4) We had good wheelin and some of us had alittle more fun than others ....huh Steve .
Steve found a new way to not have to clean that passenger side window ....roll truck on side and bust it out .

5) We had the famous camp site " Tech Session " .... Yes yours truly broke the front passenger spring , luck would have it Luis had a spare set . So we removed broke one and installed not broke one .

6) We had two wild to mild movie nights thanks to "Pimp Daddy Carter" . He put together an awesome selection of movies for us to watch .

7) Justin won the grand prize ....Two tickets to Universal Studios . Congrats to Justin

I want to say thanks to everyone because we all make it special .

Had a GREAT time .

Hah! Pimp daddy, huh? I set the bar low this time. Maybe I'll raise it up a bit next time :)

I would like to thanks all the people that contribute with their time, talent and donations to make this Turkey Trot 2012 event a great sucess. Rocky for some of the prizes, Carter for the movie night and Breakfast, Austin and Megan for the Blind Fold and Mom, Dad and Madeline the the food set up. And a special thanks to Charlie and Sue for bringing the delicious Brownies. Archie sorry for all the early morning calls. We really missed you alot...
Oh and thanks Danny and friend for helping me change my flat tire on the way home.

Yeah, that's kinda how I felt on Sunday....
