taking shims out of the steering box will tighten it - it's not difficult to rebuild, unless internal parts are badly damaged

have you done your tie rod ends yet ?

Haven't done anything with the steering yet. The tie rod ends, etc seem to be in good shape so I was going to start with the steering box since that is the major contributor to the problem. I figure that if Mark (Mark's Offroad) is concerned that he may not be able to rebuild it then I probably wouldn't have much luck either :)

great looking truck and way to make progress when the funds aren't there. Where you at in NC?
