1997 Lexus LX450 (fzj80)
Triple locked (Center, Front, and Rear Differential Lockers)
168,591 miles
Gold color
Brown interior
The good:
It's triple locked.
Interior is decent.
The body is decent behind the front clip.
Low miles.
The bad:
The front clip needs work: needs a new front bumper, rust on grill, bent grill, bondo on front quarter panels.
The engine turns over, but does not run. The PO said it needs a new fuel pump.
Battery needs to be replaced.
Missing catalytic converter.
Two tires won't hold air for more than 72 hours.
The ugly:
This vehicle has extensive rust issues. The frame, brake lines, and exhaust have a lot of rust. A LOT of rust. I'm not trying to sugar coat this. I put it in the listing title. There is rust that needs to be dealt with.
This would probably be best as a candidate for a rolling chassis swap.
I've got it on a trailer that we can use to drop it at your house if you have a tow vehicle.
What's it worth? To be honest; I have no clue. Buy the lockers and get a free vehicle.
How about $3,900?
Do you want to buy the trailer too? Let me know. We can work out a deal on that.
But, I am open to offers and trades. I need a reliable vehicle for my wife and kids. It does not need to be a Land Cruiser. Do you have a 1999 Rav4 you want to trade? A 2003 Sienna? Let's talk. I can add money in on my side if you have a more valuable vehicle.
Are you a construction trades person in Northern Colorado? I'm always working on the house, and would welcome help/expertise with the bigger projects. Let's talk about a swap for hours.
I am doing a "shed on wheels" project. I need a shed, but it needs to be movable, so it is not technically a building on my property. I could use a big trailer for the base of this project. Do you have a big trailer you don't need?
I like hunting and shooting sports. Do you have access to private property for elk hunting, or other shooting equipment?
What else you got? Let me know.
